T.I. aka TIP drops suprise EP and claims he no longer talks to Iggy Azalea anymore
In a recent interview with Hot 97's Ebro, rapper/actor T.I. (TIP) said that he had taken a step back from his relationship with his protege Iggy Azalea . The Australian artist found herself in controversy early this year with attacks on her being a "Culture-Vulture" and appropriating African American music and not giving enough credit to black culture.
The drama started when Harlem rapper Azalea Banks attacked Iggy saying she was basically wearing "black face" and she also took Tip to task for bringing her into the business. Iggy's response to Banks was not well recieved by core hip hop fans and veteran hip hop artist. Q-Tip interjected and was attacked by Iggy at which point Tip got involved and came to the defense of his artist.
T.I. claims that after her Twitter beef with rapper/producer Q-Tip. Iggy Azalea responded to the interview via Twitter and gave her side of the story. Iggy claims she is still signed to T.I. as an artist and listening to his interview was the first time she’s heard of them having problems.
T.I. who now goes by the name "TIP" which was his original name has dropped an EP independently via his Grand Hustle imprint called "Da Nic"
